Infotainment

South Western Railway (SWR) is an English train operating company owned by FirstGroup and MTR Corporation that operates the South Western franchise. It operates commuter services from its Central London terminus at London Waterloo to South West London.

With this in mind, SWR has rolled out a complimentary onboard
Entertainment service called SWR Stream. As a matter of fact you can access the SWR Stream Service on journeys between London Waterloo and Portsmouth, Southampton or Weymouth. Red Rocket created the
materials needed to promote this service.

The Brief

In the first instance SWR approached Red Rocket to design a range of materials for their new service. We wanted the new service to raise awareness, advertise, and provide information on their new service. For this reason we focused on promoting the service through leaflets and social media advertisements.

Promoting the service

To demonstrate the new service to customers we created an engaging branded experience. To emphasise the social media adverts we created striking visuals to demonstrate their message and brand. In fact, the streaming service was a new and modern feature. At this instant SWR are one of the first train companies to roll this feature out. For this reason, we wanted to portray that within the design. The clean, modern layout and strong focus on the range of streaming channels available provided an eye-catching response to our brief.

THE RED ROCKET SOLUTION

In conclusion, through the use of our engaging photography, clear branding, and clean advertising style, we were able to provide SWR with high-quality promotional materials. The finished products really
portray the modern adjustments the company are making and SWR were pleased with the results that they bought in.
