FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
National Trust is celebrating 5 Million Members. Firstly, it’s safe to say that this is a historic milestone. Thanks to the general public, the National Trust can care for a staggering 775 miles of coastline, over 248,000 hectares of land and over 500 historic houses, castles, ancient monuments, gardens, parks and nature reserves.
From a charity with only 100 members when we first founded in 1895, they have gone from 4 to 5 million in the last 6 years alone.

So, how did Red Rocket deliver this project? Firstly, brought the expertise, nuance and passion the work demanded to the table. Creating a sub-brand of the National Trust was our first port of call. Keenly aware of the need for a thoughtful, integrated and visually arresting experience, Red Rocket got to tackling the project.
Our designers created a series of concepts for the print material. Our leading animators then began to craft the journey of the Trust through storyboards. Once the storyboard was approved, the animators carefully crafted the visual experience.
The Red Rocket Solution
However, there’s more! As part of this campaign we were asked for “out of the box thinking”. The National Trust wanted to leave a lasting impression with its supporters. Our solution: branded seed packets with a grow your own instructions. The National Trust are strong advocates in mitigating climate change and help to safeguard the future of public green spaces. With this in mind, it was the perfect collateral for their corporate message.
In conclusion, the National Trust was elated with the campaign and are looking forward to celebrating 6 Million Members.
