Firstly, Multidata Limited love to do things differently. It is probably fair to say that they have been doing just that since 1990. In two short years, they become a brand leader in the UK dial-up modem market. By 1996 Multidata had won the DTI Exporter of the Year award.
As a matter of fact, they are best known as a key supplier of broadband and leased lines to Local Government.
The Swindon based technology company engaged Red Rocket to build an all-new marketing website. With this intention, Red Rocket streamlined the user journey and optimized the path to conversion. With this in mind, we coupled a lighthearted, illustrative approach to the new Multidata website. Our goal was to tell an engaging and memorable brand story online, unlike any other local services industry.

Clear and concise messaging
For this reason, our main focus for the Multidata website was to educate users effectively, starting with the homepage. To ensure clear and concise messaging throughout, we collaborated with the communications team at Multidata to create a refined content strategy. In fact, by simplifying the overall structure of content on each page we were able to communicate effectively.
We created a simple, consistent page template, making it easier for the team at Multidata to perform updates to the website. From adding new pages to editing blocks of content, we developed a cohesive design system with an intuitive content management experience.
To better engage users, we created a series of pre-event print material and micro-interactions throughout the website. We combined rich product photography and purposeful whitespace to tell a more effective story. With a clean, open layout and clear call-to-actions, we created a simplified path to book tickets.
