Hochtief UK approached Red Rocket to develop its UK website. Firstly, we started with the UK brand and went on to design the website and visual language. With this design completed, we moved on to help fine-tune the products themselves, looking at Hochtief UK case studies as a whole.
However, let’s not forget that the project’s core brief was based on the German sister company. We allocated a team of designers and engineers to develop, launch and continue tweaking Hochtief to provide the best user experience possible.

Obviously, the Hochtief brief was to stand-alone in the UK market but reflect it’s core values of its sister company. As a matter of fact, integration was a key aspect of this project. Red Rocket deployed an internal communications network, company surveys and in-house training into their responsive website.
Additionally, we built major part of the backend that now handles their internal communications and traffic of all website interactions. Besides the core product, Red Rocket also participated in the creation of the case studies by designing and developing the pages that helped Hochtief to acquire acquisitions to tender.
The initial wireframes and designs were inspired by the flow of the existing parent company and in line with their corporate guidelines. On top of that, we came up with many user experience improvements. Red Rocket developers worked directly with the website code to ensure that the algorithms worked exactly the same.
