Red Rocket has supplied GWR for over 15 years on a variety of projects. So…it was no surprise when they approached us to promote the GWR Great Day Out for the fourth year running.

Building the brand
Throughout the development of the brand, website and collateral, it was clear that each element needed to capture the vision of the Great Day Out. Our creative brief was simple: Create an engaging product that is available across all platforms. With this in mind, we created a welcoming aesthetic, bold colour and fun photography from the previous event.
However, that’s not all. To showcase employee benefits and encourage engagement Red Rocket created a series of pre-event print material, email campaigns to promote the event.
As a result of the pre-launch success, Red Rocket was asked to create an immerse website experience. We combined photography and bold colours with purposeful whitespace to communicate the core messaging. In addition to the striking design, we integrated clear call-to-actions and straightforward user experience to book tickets.

But wait, there’s more. No event would be complete without branded materials. For the Great Day Out we produced branded ponchos, sunglasses and hats for all who attended. As a matter of fact, the branded materials was so successful we now supply these for a variety of GWR projects.
